This course is designed to help prepare well pump installers to write the ita examination. Some review will be provided on basic safety, well drilling methods, geology, ground water quality, and Aquifer potential. But the primary focus is on the technical and practical aspects of selecting, applying and troubleshooting well pumps. Electrical and motor controls will also be covered with the understanding that Safety Authority certification as an FSR well pump installer must be obtained separately. It is understood that the challenge candidate will have completed the trade related work experience for water well drilling, geo-exchange drilling and geotechnical and environmental before applying to the ita. | Not currently scheduled.
